The value-orientation of the work of art in connection with the genre and style
Different approaches to the pastiche in slovak literary and music studies

Abstract

The paper compares different approaches of literary and music studies to the pastiche. A pastiche has many creative values for literary studies, but musicology does not pay any special attention to it. In the music, the techniques of pastiche are often perceived as an illustration of non-ingenuity or superficiality of the pop-culture.
